Conversation Starters

Conversation Starters are media products that provide integrated frameworks — environmental, social, and financial — to stimulate sustainable perspectives and activities.

These 7 - 10 minute media products translate integrated frameworks for use by active leaders in multiple settings. These Conversation Starters are designed for use by working group leaders to kick off working sessions such as:

1. Opening a meeting in an investment house to incorporate climate risk in a new investment product.
2. Opening a meeting of pension fund beneficial owners intent on communicating with their investment trustees.
3. Opening an interdisciplinary working session convened by an environmental management professor to design a curriculum, which integrates water, energy, and climate systems.
4. Opening a working session of eco-business leaders.

Conservation Starter under development:

• "Vital Systems: A Conversation Starter for Investor Action — Drawing on Social and Environmental Wisdom" This Conversation Starter is available to working group leaders interested in grounding their working sessions in the wisdom of the natural world and human families to build better relationships within their communities — both people and place.
